Constructed from raw double indigo tote cloth, this oversized Type 005 One-Strap Tote Bag from Tender has been designed to a generous size and has a folded bottom edge that removes the need for a seam, resulting in a strong, reliable finish. Cut raw on the bias and woven in England, a single linen herringbone, wide webbing strap has been selected for the handle and wraps around the bag twice to create both handles which means this bag can be worn over the shoulder or in your hands. A small women label showing the Tender elephant logo design has been stitched on the inside of the bag for subtle branding.

With strong roots within antique workwear and machinery, Tender Co. looks to the Great British Steam Age for inspiration which is reflected through a meticulous eye for craftsmanship, construction, detailing and fabric selection. Based in Stroud, England, everything has been designed by William Kroll and made in nearby specialist small-scale factories who share an interest in traditional techniques that give each Tender design a strong, unique character.
