Product Details

An item sure to appeal to mid-century enthusiasts, this stylish bottle opener was crafted in the 1960s by famed silversmiths, Ravinet d’Enfert, for Hermès. Inspired by sailing rope and part of the brand’s ‘Cordage’ collection, no vintage-inspired bar should be without one.

Designed and made in the 1960s, this silver-plated brass bottle opener is part of the Hermès ‘Cordage’ collection, a range of pieces for the home and office with a nod to the nautical. It was expertly crafted in France by Maison Ravinet d’Enfert of Paris, the Hermès silversmiths of choice. In keeping with its age, the silver has developed a slight patina, further adding to its vintage charm.

Reassuringly weighty and sitting perfectly in your palm, it has a braided sailing rope design speaking to the coastal influences of the collection. It has a plain, smooth top with grove detail to grip the bottle securely and is stamped ‘Hermès Paris’. It is finished with a ribbed bottom and a pebble-effect base – once again referencing its nautical inspirations.

Elegant and timeless, it’s an elevated take on a bar essential.

If sold within the United Kingdom, this Hermès Bottle Opener will be subject to 20% VAT.
